Cocoon UL 60 Pant
The Cocoon UL 60 Pant is a pull-on style pant to be used as a core insulation piece for the purposes of:
- Extending the range of an ultralight sleep system
- Boosting your warmth while hanging around camp or at rest stops
- Providing leg insulation for alpine climbing, winter camping, or bivy scenarios
When combined with one of the ultralight Cocoon tops, the Cocoon UL 60 Pant can easily extend the range of a sleeping bag into colder season use (make sure there is enough room in your sleeping bag to accommodate high loft clothing so it does not become compressed and lose its insulating ability).
The Cocoon UL 60 Pant weighs less than many mid-layer long underwear bottoms and offer five to ten times the loft of these types of garments. The Cocoon UL 60 Pant is optimized to provide a high warmth-to-weight ratio while retaining the benefits of synthetic insulated lower garments.
The Cocoon UL 60 Pant uses a very high quality, 68g/sq. m Polarguard Delta insulation made to order for us that is shipped and stored uncompressed to preserve its maximum possible loft.
